When this is useful
Use only details you are authorised to include. A shared follow-up may circulate beyond the original recipient, so avoid embedding private account information in the footage. A prepared sample can explain the task without reproducing the prospect’s real data.
Adapt the script
- Name the question in the opening. Tell the viewer which part of the earlier discussion this recording addresses.
- Demonstrate that path with clear context. Show the controls and final state that answer the question; omit unrelated feature tours.
- Offer a practical next step. Suggest a test task, a relevant help page or a follow-up discussion rather than claiming the question proves purchase readiness.
Why these scenes belong together
If the buyer asked about filtering a report by team, show that filter and result. Do not turn the follow-up into an invitation workflow unless it answers an additional agreed question.
Sales follow-up script
Illustrative copy to adapt. Replace bracketed fields and verify every claim against your product.
Limits and checks
Personalisation is not permission to expose confidential prospect information. Keep names, account details and sensitive use cases out of publicly shareable exports.
Your next step
Ask the reviewer whether the video answers the original question without another call. Add context only where the answer remains ambiguous.
