The House Menu.

A 22-second editorial product film for the fictional brand Plattr. Your product, on the cover.

22 seconds · 1080 × 1920 · MP4 · Made with Demovela

What happens in the film

A sample film for Plattr, a fictional meal planner, staged as a bistro menu card lying on a linen tablecloth. On the cover, "Dinner, decided." sets in a soft serif above an illustrated plate of spaghetti pomodoro that draws itself, basil landing leaf by leaf. Inside, "The week, planned.": seven example dinners from Monday to Sunday are set like courses, with Monday tagged Tonight. The card turns over to the market list, where the Plattr app's grocery list fills itself in by aisle beside a paper grocery bag: "The list writes itself." Then five ingredients already in the kitchen are ticked off as the app suggests a spinach and feta skillet that uses them and adds it to Thursday: "Cook from what you have." The back cover draws the Plattr mark, a plate with a herb sprig: "Your week, on a plate." A weekly plan, an automatic grocery list, recipes from your kitchen. Example dishes and quantities are marked Illustrative. Sample film, fictional brand.

The Editorial style

Magazine layouts, serif headlines, generous white space and still-life pacing.

Good fit for: Fashion, lifestyle, food, publishing and premium products that sell on taste.

Review tip: Editorial pacing is slower. It suits a landing page or a launch post better than a six-second ad slot.

How this film was made

Plattr is a fictional brand created for this sample, so the website, product and screens in the film are invented. It shows how the Editorial style handles a product of this kind; it is not a customer project.

To make one for your own product, paste your website URL into Demovela and pick a style. Your first watermarked film is free, and you can ask for a different hook, pace or format afterwards. Each new version is kept as its own output.
