What happens in the film
A vertical cinematic sample film for Kilnhouse Coffee, a fictional roast-to-order coffee subscription, told as one bag's single day and lit only by its fire. At 5:12 AM seven blue gas jets click alight under an empty drum: "Your next bag isn't roasted yet." On the music's lift the flames surge to ember, and inside the drum window the beans turn from green to brown until the first crack sparks: "Roasted to order, the morning it ships." In the Kilnhouse app the roast profile is picked from Light, Dark and Medium, with the bean colour and roast curve following each choice. A kraft bag is stamped ROASTED TODAY, then SHIPS TODAY. Pausing the subscription turns the flame down to a blue pilot light, and the pilot flares back to ember inside the Kilnhouse mark for the end card: "Roasted the day it ships." Times and values are illustrative, and the brand is fictional.
The Cinematic style
Film-leader countdowns, slates, warm grading and slow reveals. The product is treated like the lead in a trailer.
Good fit for: Launches, rebrands and any product with a story worth staging as an event.
Review tip: Keep the opening short. A cinematic intro earns about three seconds before the viewer needs to see the product itself.
How this film was made
Kilnhouse Coffee is a fictional brand created for this sample, so the website, product and screens in the film are invented. It shows how the Cinematic style handles a product of this kind; it is not a customer project.
To make one for your own product, paste your website URL into Demovela and pick a style. Your first watermarked film is free, and you can ask for a different hook, pace or format afterwards. Each new version is kept as its own output.
