Begin with an existing recording and a clear revision task. Compare how naturally you can restructure the explanation and preserve meaning. An editor and a browser-capture agent solve different parts of production.
Demovela is one option when the job is to turn a supported web-product workflow into recorded source footage and multiple video edits. It is not automatically a replacement for the entire Descript workflow.

When Demovela fits
Consider Demovela when an agent-led capture and a set of video outputs are the work you need. Its current automatic preview is limited to Postraid and Adfolio. It does not promise universal website access, existing-account access, a human presenter or an interactive tour.
Stay with or shortlist Descript when its workflow better matches the task described above. Combining a capture tool with an editor may be more useful than replacing either one.
